Ok, ok… so Cap beat me to posting about these guys, so I’m simply going to point you towards his post rather than regurgitate any of it.

But seriously… you need to listen to The Deep Dark Woods‘ new release, “Winter Hours”. It is, quite simply, a thing of sheer beauty.

There’s something about this band. A weariness, and darkness for sure… but somewhere bubbling below it all, a joy that is a pure physical force.
